What the site is

GrillCheesy is a sandwich publication covering the grilled cheese sandwich and every other sandwich, with a limited delivery menu described on the Menu page. Its posts are published for general information.

Accuracy and sources

Posts link to the sources they use and list them at the end. Sandwich histories are often disputed, and posts report disputed claims as disputed. Content can still contain errors or become outdated, and corrections are welcome at x9m8x7@gmail.com.

Food safety and cooking advice

Recipes and technique posts describe methods reported by their sources. Cooking times, temperatures and handling of food are starting points, and readers are responsible for safe food handling, allergen checks and following the instructions on their own equipment.

Advertising and affiliate links

The site may carry advertising and, later, affiliate links. The Disclosure page gives the details.

Third-party sites

Linked sites and any products or services they offer are not controlled or endorsed by GrillCheesy. Dealings with them are between the reader and that third party. Delivery orders placed through DoorDash are governed by DoorDash’s own terms.

Ownership and use of content

The text and images on the site are protected by copyright. Reading the site, sharing links to it and quoting short passages with attribution and a link are welcome. Copying or republishing posts in full requires written permission.

Messages sent to the site

Senders are responsible for the content of messages sent through the Contact page or by email. The Privacy Policy explains how messages are handled.

Use of the site

Visitors may not use the site for anything illegal, interfere with its operation, try to gain unauthorized access, or collect its content in bulk by automated means.

No warranties and limit of liability

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, GrillCheesy is not liable for losses arising from use of the site.

Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated, and continued use of the site after a change means acceptance of it. The terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
